Job Description

1. Product Management (Heavy Industrial Services / Industrial Gear)

· Lead and manage the full product lifecycle of HIS and IG products in Thailand.

· Provide technical leadership and pre-sales support to achieve annual sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.

· Collaborate closely with global SEW teams to align product knowledge, technical strategies, and regional solution development.

· Maintain technical documentation such as manuals, datasheets, certifications, white papers, and application case studies.

2. Product Development & Innovation

· Identify customer needs, technical gaps, and innovation opportunities through close engagement with end users.

· Modify or adapt existing HIS solutions for challenging environments (e.g., high temperature, dust, hazardous areas, vibration).

· Monitor industry and competitor trends to identify new product and market opportunities in Thailand.

3. Inquiry & Order Support

· Evaluate customer specifications for technical and commercial feasibility, risk mitigation, and compliance with SEW-EURODRIVE standards.

· Perform drive selections including SEW and third-party components using SEW pricing guidelines.

· Generate dimensional drawings from SEW database for customer approval.

4. Customer Technical Support & Relationship Management

· Serve as the lead technical contact for customer applications, diagnostics, and integration support.

· Conduct on-site visits for system commissioning, root cause analysis, and optimization with the service team.

· Design and deliver customized technical training for OEMs, distributors, and end users (both online and in-person).

· Support system integration, retrofits, and upgrades while ensuring compatibility with existing mechanical and control systems.

· Collaborate with Sales team to analyze won/lost opportunities and improve quotation strategies.

· Build long-term customer relationships through regular follow-up, feedback integration, and proactive service.

5. Technical Expertise & Tool

· Develop expertise in SEW-EURODRIVE's calculation and configuration tools for drive selection and system engineering.

· Maintain a high level of technical knowledge in IG products, accessories, and application engineering across key industries.

· Support internal and external training activities for IG, tools and advanced drive solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements

· Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering

· At least 3-5 years of experience in industrial services, motion control systems, or mechatronics.

· Strong technical knowledge in industrial automation, drives, gear motors, and related mechanical-electrical systems.

· Has experience working for an OEM in (heavy) machine building or as application engineer in similar components that we supply.

· Knows customer and the Thailand market. Experience in cement or/and sugar industry is a plus.

· Good command in English (Minimum 600 TOEIC score).

· Willingness to travel within Thailand and occasionally to regional/global SEW EURODRIVES.
