About the role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Manager to join our team at Varivana Resort Koh Phangan Co., Ltd. in Surat Thani. As a full-time Financial Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations and strategic planning for our resort, ensuring its long-term success and profitability.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage and oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  2. Analyse financial data, identify trends, and provide recommendations to the executive team
  3. Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial policies
  4. Supervise and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and support to drive efficiency and accuracy
  5. Collaborate with other departments to align financial strategies with the overall business objectives
  6. Develop and implement financial controls and risk management strategies
  7. Contribute to the strategic planning and decision-making processes of the organisation

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior financial management role, preferably within the hospitality or tourism industry
  2. Proven track record of successful financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  3. Strong understanding of financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting principles applicable to the industry
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights
  5. Proficient in the use of financial management software and tools
  6. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop finance professionals
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
