Scope of Work

The Sommelier is responsible for curating an exceptional wine program, delivering refined and personalized wine service, and enhancing the overall dining experience through expert recommendations, storytelling, and warm hospitality. This role ensures our wine selection reflects quality, diversity, and exclusivity, while supporting the team with training and standards in line with luxury service excellence.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Curate and manage the wine list, ensuring quality, balance, and proper cellar storage.

• Provide personalized wine recommendations and tableside service to enhance guest experience.

• Conduct wine training and tastings for the F&B team to maintain service excellence.

• Collaborate with the culinary team to develop thoughtful food & wine pairings.

• Maintain accurate inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships.

• Host wine-related guest experiences, including tastings and pairing events.

• Uphold luxury service standards and ensure compliance with hygiene and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Certified Sommelier (CMS, WSET Level 2 or above, or equivalent)

• Minimum 2–3 years' experience in luxury hotel or fine-dining environment

• Strong knowledge of global wine regions, grape varietals, vintages, and food pairing

• Excellent communication, guest-engagement, and storytelling skills

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and stock control

• Flexible schedule, professional grooming, and calm, refined service approach

Contract Period & Benefits

• Contract Duration: 1 December 2025 – 30 April 2026
