Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Control Supervisor to oversee the operations of our Wet pet food Plant. The Quality Control Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the highest quality and safety standards, in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. This role will oversee quality assurance procedures, manage laboratory testing, coordinate inspections, and lead the QC team to maintain operational excellence.

Responsibility:

  • Supervise QC technicians and ensure all quality inspections and tests are performed accurately and on time.
  • Oversee daily quality checks on raw materials, in-process batches, and finished wet pet food products.
  • Maintain compliance with HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, and other applicable food safety standards.
  • Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to resolve quality issues quickly and effectively.
  • Investigate quality deviations, determine root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and cleanliness of lab and QC testing equipment.
  • Review and maintain all QC records, inspection logs, and product release documentation.
  • Train and coach QC staff to maintain high technical competence and awareness of quality standards.
  • Participate in audits from customers, third-party certifiers, and regulatory agencies.
  • Monitor and report quality KPIs, proposing improvement plans where necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any Food Science, Microbiology, Food Technology or related filed.
  • At least 5 years in quality control and assurance function in the Canning food or Wet Petfood.
  • Fluent Thai and English communication skills and writing.
  • Experience of developing and assessing privacy policies and controls that minimize risk and ensure compliance.
  • Understanding of quality standard and control methods, GHPs, HACCP, BRC, DLD and ISO22000 standards.

    Training of Retort Supervisors.
  • Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Experience of communicating effectively with the highest levels of management and decision-making individuals within the organization.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Offices and other research tools.
  • Planning, priority setting, problem solving and monitoring skills.
  • Good presentation skills.
