Role Description

This is a a Full-time hybrid role for an Odoo Developer (with Infra/DevOps) located in Bangkok with
work-from-anywhere flexibility
. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Odoo applications, customizing existing modules, and integrating Odoo with other systems. Daily tasks include coding, troubleshooting, and collaborating with the IT team to deploy and manage Odoo instances. In addition, the candidate will also focus on infrastructure management, including server setups and maintenance, ensuring optimized performance and security.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Odoo Development


• Design and develop custom Odoo modules (ORM, Python, XML/QWeb, JS/OWL, web controllers).


• Customize standard apps: Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, Manufacturing, HR.


• Build reports (QWeb, XLSX, PDF) and server actions, scheduled jobs (cron).


• Integrate external systems (REST/JSON, webhooks, OAuth2); write well-documented APIs.


• Data migration (CSV/Excel, ETL scripts) and performance tuning.


• Contribute to code review, unit tests, and technical documentation.

2. Infrastructure / DevOps


• Provision and harden environments on Ubuntu (or Docker): PostgreSQL, Nginx/Reverse Proxy, SSL (Let's Encrypt), workers, email (SMTP).


• Manage or on-prem/cloud (AWS/GCP/DO) as needed.


• Security baselines: firewall, SSH, least-privilege, secrets management, DB access controls, OWASP.

3. Collaboration


• Work with PM/BA on requirements; translate specs into technical tasks and estimates.


• Support SIT/UAT, fix defects quickly, and hand over deployment and admin runbooks.


• Provide user training and admin knowledge transfer.


Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field


• 2–5+ years hands-on Experience in Odoo development, customization, and implementation with custom module delivery in production.


• Strong Python, Odoo ORM, XML/QWeb, JavaScript/OWL.


• Solid PostgreSQL (schema, indexes, performance, backup/restore).


• Linux admin (Ubuntu), Nginx, systemd, SSL/TLS; scripting (bash).


• Git workflow (feature branches, PRs), CI/CD basics (GitHub/GitLab Actions).


• Fluent in English or Thai

• Docker/Compose or K8s, Traefik, Celery/RQ for workers.


• Odoo Enterprise & operations.


• OCA modules; Thai localization (e.g., l10n_th, withholding tax, e-tax invoice, VAT).


• BI/Reporting (Metabase/Power BI), message bus (RabbitMQ/Redis).


• Payment gateways, LINE OA, e-commerce integrations.
