About the role

We are seeking a talented Collection Specialist to join our Finance team at Ecolab Ltd. in Pathum Wan, Bangkok. This full-time role will be responsible for proactively managing the company's accounts receivable and ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments from our valued clients. You will play a crucial part in maintaining the financial health of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

  1. Regularly monitor and reconcile customer accounts to identify outstanding invoices
  2. Contact customers to follow up on late or missing payments and negotiate payment plans as needed
  3. Maintain detailed records of all communication and payment activities
  4. Collaborate with the sales team to resolve any billing discrepancies or issues
  5. Assist in the preparation of regular collection reports and analysis
  6. Support the implementation of effective credit control policies and procedures
  7. Work closely with the Accounts Receivable team to ensure a seamless collections process

What we're looking for

  1. Relevant experience in a collections or accounts receivable role, preferably in the Accounting or Financial Services industry
  2. Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively liaise with customers
  3. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  4. Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
  6. Familiarity with credit management best practices and regulations

Requirements:

  • B.A. in Accounting
  • High adaptability.
  • Cost accounting experience is advantage.
  • 2-3 years experience in General Accounting, Auditing or any accounting related field.
  • Good command in spoken & written English and Thai
  • Computer literacy: MS office, Excel, ERP system
  • Good knowledge of SAP system, IFRS accounting
  • Good interpersonal skill and positive attitude
  • Loyalty, Precision, Leadership and Ability to systematic analysis
  • Interpersonal skill, high responsibility, self-motivation, systematic and creative thinking, dare to share ideas, good work attitude, and action-oriented
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to tight deadlines, as part of a team
  • Ensure all tasks are completed in compliance with company's policy & guideline.
  • Co-ordinate and support team to resolve any problem in conjunction with accounting transactions.
