Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in executing trading transactions in fixed income and derivative instruments under supervision.
  • Monitor and report on domestic and global market trends, interest rate movements, and macroeconomic indicators to support trading decisions.
  • Prepare market research, trading reports, and performance summaries for senior traders and management.
  • Support the evaluation of new financial instruments and derivative products by gathering data and conducting preliminary analysis.
  • Collaborate with risk management and product development teams to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to the improvement of trading systems, data infrastructure, and workflows by providing feedback and assisting in testing.
  • Ensure all trading activities comply with internal policies, regulatory standards, and delegated authority levels.
  • Provide operational support in troubleshooting and resolving issues within the trading function.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in capital markets, trading, or related financial services.
  • Basic understanding of interest rate products, derivatives, and risk management principles.
  • Familiarity with local and international financial markets and regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with eagerness to learn and grow.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling tools, and market data systems; experience with trading platforms is an advantage.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
