Mechanical Engineer

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee comprehensive maintenance of critical utility infrastructure including fire protection systems, compressed air systems, wastewater treatment facilities, LPG gas systems, building maintenance, and water pumping systems
  • Develop and execute scheduled maintenance programs to ensure optimal equipment performance and regulatory compliance
  • Manage precision instrument calibration programs and oversee toolroom operations to maintain measurement accuracy and tool inventory
  • Lead and manage maintenance, calibration, and toolroom teams, ensuring proper resource allocation and workflow coordination
  • Monitor team performance, conduct regular assessments, and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Prepare comprehensive utility performance reports including energy consumption, system efficiency metrics, and maintenance activities for management review
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, calibration certificates, and compliance documentation
  • Lead mechanical and thermal energy conservation initiatives, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost reduction
  • Provide technical support for Good Manufacturing Practices and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points implementation, ensuring utility systems meet food safety standards
  • Coordinate with production, quality assurance, and engineering teams to support operational objectives
  • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and provide technical training to production operators on utility systems and maintenance procedures
  • Ensure all utility operations comply with Thai labor law, safety regulations, and industry standards
  • Complete assigned projects within specified timelines and budgets

Qualifications / Experience

· Bachelor's or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

· Good command of spoken and written English

· years of engineering experience including as team leader.

· Experience in Can Making Factory

· Good communication skills with strong leadership.

· Strong multitasking abilities across various projects.

· Able to travel upcountry and aboard.
