Key responsibilities

  • Performing market research to help identify new investment trends and business opportunities.
  • Sourcing, managing, and evaluating deals of investment or business opportunities and present viable opportunities to management for consideration.
  • Performing Due Diligence on viable opportunities
  • Analyzing investment feasibility and business synergy and proposal
  • Preparing investment proposal for investment committee
  • Assisting in the execution of investment or business opportunities including negotiation and drafting of transaction agreements
  • Monitoring post-investment performance and investment portfolio management
  • Overseeing portfolio companies and assisting them in operational, financial, and other necessary matters to help them grow their businesses and maximize investment value.
  • Preparing regular investment updates for internal and external use
  • Developing financial modelling and valuation analysis and preparing internal investment memo
  • Performing various valuation methods – comparable companies, precedents, and DCF.
  • Exploring exit options and working with counterparties to ensure successful divestments.
  • Identifying, analyzing, and executing on debt investment including monitoring and enforcement on the debtors
  • Initiating, evaluating, and executing potential new business for the group
  • Assisting on ad-hoc analysis and assigned projects.
  • Supporting on general management and enhancement of business units within the group

Qualifications

  • Bachelor/master's degree in MBA, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Working experience in financial institutions, corporates, entrepreneurs, or startups with strong know-how of investment (both equity and debt), venture capital, and business development
  • Understand both technical and business concepts quickly and effectively with business acumen.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, qualitative, and logical problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge in financial modelling, project feasibility, M&A, and business development
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook).
  • Advanced collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Team player, open minded, willingness to learn with self-improvement goal.
  • Growth mindset with openness to failure
  • Excellent communication skills in both Thai and English
