Job Summary

A Motion Graphic Designer is responsible for creating engaging and visually captivating animations and motion graphics to communicate ideas and tell stories effectively. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, they bring concepts to life by blending creativity, design, animation, and sometimes video editing to deliver impactful visuals across various platforms, including video content, digital advertisements, social media, and more.

The role requires a strong understanding of design principles, storytelling, animation techniques, and video editing skills to produce high-quality work aligned with brand objectives.

Main Account: KFC

Responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and animating motion graphics across KFC's digital and in-store touchpoints. This includes creating dynamic menu animations, digital OOH screens, social motion assets, and campaign materials. The position requires strong attention to detail, a good sense of timing, and the ability to translate design direction into smooth, compelling motion.

Duties & Responsibilities

Internal-facing

1. Cross-Team Collaboration

• Work with Creative, Account, and Production teams to align on KFC's ongoing menu and digital material requirements.
• Coordinate with Art Directors and Editors to ensure seamless delivery of assets for digital menus and food ads.

2. Craft & Animation Quality

• Maintain animation quality, pacing, and consistency aligned with brand guidelines.
• Manage project files and templates to support efficient revisions and localization needs.
• Support the continuous improvement of workflow templates and animation standards.

3. File & Workflow Management

• Organize, name, and archive motion assets systematically for easy cross-team usage.
• Coordinate closely with the Production Coordinator to meet deadlines and manage volume workloads efficiently.
• Maintain a library of reusable assets and transitions for fast-turnaround jobs.

External-facing

1. Motion Design for POP Assets

• Create and animate assets for KFC's digital menus, in-store screens, and social platforms.
• Execute dynamic and appetizing food animations that highlight KFC's products effectively.
• Adapt existing key visuals or artwork into motion-ready compositions.

2. Digital Advertising & Display Content

• Produce motion graphics for digital banners, in-store promos, and product launches.
• Collaborate with the KFC marketing and POP teams to ensure visuals meet campaign objectives and brand tone.
• Optimize animations for multiple display formats and screen sizes.

3. Output Delivery & Technical Readiness

• Prepare files for deployment across various digital channels (menu boards, social, DOOH, LED panels).
• Conduct final quality checks for motion clarity, frame rates, and color accuracy before submission.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in motion graphics, animation, or digital design.
• Proficient in After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator (Cinema4D or 3D software is a plus).
• Strong sense of timing, visual hierarchy, and composition.
• Experience in food or retail motion design is an advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple quick-turn projects and deliver high-quality work under tight timelines.
