What you'll be doing
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with modern trade customers
- Manage and grow existing modern trade customer accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase brand visibility and sales within the modern trade channel
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective promotional campaigns and in-store activations
- Analyse sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and inform decision-making
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events
- Provide regular updates and reports to the sales management team
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sales, key account management, or modern trade channel management
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with customers
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- Proficiency in data analysis and the use of sales and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
- Thorough understanding of the modern trade channel and the competitive landscape
- Passion for the FMCG industry and a keen interest in the latest market trends and consumer preferences
