Roles :

  • Teach courses within the program.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, departmental initiatives, and student activities.
  • Participate in departmental and faculty meetings/activities.
  • Deliver at least one research presentation, publication, or professional talk annually.
  • Perform other academic and administrative duties as assigned.

1. Robotics / Control related

Qualifications :

  • Master or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Control Systems, Embedded or related fields.
  • In-depth knowledge of control systems (PID, adaptive control, model predictive control, etc.)
  • Understanding of flight dynamics for both fixed-wing and multi-rotor drones.
  • Familiarity with IMU, GPS, barometric sensors, and sensor fusion techniques, i.e., Kalman filters or equivalent state estimation algorithms.
  • Hands-on experience with testing drones in real-world conditions including tuning flight controllers and analyzing flight logs.
  • Prior experience (2+ years) developing control systems for drones or robotic vehicles.
  • Ability to design, simulate, and implement control algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink or similar tools.
  • Proficiency in C/C++/Python for real-time embedded control.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
  • Ability to work closely with firmware, hardware, and mechanical design teams.
  • Good command of spoken and written English (TOEIC ≥ 785).

2.Embedded / Firmware related

Qualifications :

  • Master or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Embedded or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of RTOS concepts and tasks scheduling with experience in implementing firmware on platforms like FreeRTOS or similar.
  • Familiarity with various communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, etc.) and ability to read and understand circuit schematics and PCB layouts.
  • Proficiency in using debuggers, logic analyzers, and other diagnostic tools including performance tuning and optimization.
  • Comfortable with Git and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.
  • Ability to maintain structured, well-documented codebases.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Good command of spoken and written English (TOEIC ≥ 785).

3.Aerospace or Aeronautical related

Qualifications :

  • Master or Ph.D. in Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related fields.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) in fixed-wing and multirotor aerodynamics, aircraft design processes. Optionally, experience with wind tunnel testing or computational fluid dynamics (CFD)is advantage.
  • Experience with software like SolidWorks, CATIA, ANSYS, or similar tools to create 3D models and run simulations for structural and airflow analysis.
  • Capability to interpret test data, generate performance reports, and iterate designs.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or other numerical analysis tools.
  • Strong communication for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
  • Good command of spoken and written English (TOEIC ≥ 785).

Remark : Candidates for graduate school must have at Doctoral Degree, others must have at least a Master's Degree in related field of the programs
