EHS Department Manager

Join the dynamic team at TDK (Thailand) Co., Ltd. as the EHS Department Manager. In this full-time position based in Ayutthaya, you will play a vital role in overseeing the company's environmental, health and safety initiatives, ensuring the wellbeing of our employees and compliance with industry regulations.

TDK is seeking an experienced EHS Department Manager to lead and manage our Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) functions and System management. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Main duties:

• Overall work related to safety, health, and environmental management, as well as factory facility management, and the duties of the responsible person.
• Overall system management related to RBA and the duties of the person in charge
• With the cooperation of all related departments, lead the organization and implement management in accordance with the requirements of ISO14001, ISO45001 and RBA.
• Certification and maintenance of ISO14001, ISO45001 and RBA management system.
• Implementation of internal audit program for ISO14001, ISO45001 and RBA management system . (every year)
• Implementation of external audit program for ISO14001, ISO45001 management system . (every year)

Conducting RBA VAP audits. (once/2 years)

• Supervise and manage EHS tasks performed in accordance with legal, customer and TDK head office requirements.
• Work with all departments to establish environmental management programs to reduce energy (CO2), water, and waste, and lead the organization to implement them .
• Establish and operate EHS management policies and procedures.
• Report EHS performance to management. In addition, review EHS management from management feedback.
• Consider and implement the EHS program in cooperation with the EHS coordinator, who represents the head office functions, and report the results. (ASEAN Participate in TDK-EHS global meetings and report on EHS performance. In addition, input into the EHS management program from feedback and shared information)
• Responsible for facility security management, and implements security management according to security requirements represented by TDK facility security and C-TPAT, TISAX.
• Consider an environmental CSR program and achieve its goals.
• EHS department budget planning and management, including EHS employee training plans.
• Emergency plan , formulation of BCP, consulting to related departments, and operationalization.
• Assistance with auditing customer requirements.
• Managing and supervising factory facility department operations and organization.
• Development and implementation of plant-wide facility management programs.
• Environmental maintenance and improvement of the factory area. (including compliance with legal requirements)
• Management and operation of power receiving equipment. Management and support related to the operation of production equipment, etc.
• Management and operation of fire extinguishing equipment and wastewater treatment facilities.
• Management and operation of lighting equipment.
• Management and operation of fire prevention equipment.
• Responding to management's order
• Handling tasks assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in EHS management, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of ISO14001, ISO45001, TISAX and RBA standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• English conversation skill requires.

1. Relevant degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science or a related field
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in an EHS management role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
3. Strong knowledge of environmental, health and safety regulations and best practices
4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address EHS risks
5. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with various teams
6. Proactive and driven to continuously improve EHS performance
