We are looking for a visionary leader to join our team as Assistant Vice President – Business Development in the Facultative Reinsurance (Property and Casualty) Department. This is a strategic role focused on driving growth, building strong client relationships, and leading a high-performing team to deliver innovative reinsurance solutions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Strategic Business Growth

    Lead the development of new business opportunities and cross-selling strategies across departments and client portfolios.
  • Client Engagement & Relationship Management

    Build and maintain strong relationships with local insurers, acting as a trusted advisor to deliver tailored reinsurance solutions.
  • Team Leadership & Development

    Inspire and manage a high-performing team, promoting discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Market Intelligence & Product Innovation

    Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and develop innovative product offerings.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless execution of business strategies and client solutions.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution

    Develop and implement sales plans aligned with company goals, track performance, and optimize results.
  • Operational Excellence

    Ensure efficient processes, documentation standards, and compliance across all business development activities.
  • Executive Communication

    Prepare and deliver impactful presentations and reports to senior management and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in any field
  • 5-10 years of experience in the insurance or reinsurance industry
  • Fluent in Thai and English (spoken and written)
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Highly motivated, team-oriented, and results-driven
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Deep understanding of insurance and reinsurance products
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Experience in client-facing roles and executive-level presentations
