Job Purpose

Responsible for ensuring that the outsource companies develop their process in line with the design intent of the customer and verify their systems to ensure they are compliant with the end customer's needs. This includes onsite Quality Management System and Quality policy to ensure that the business' product are fit for purpose and meet customer expectations and compliance with regulation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess new and existing outsourcer's capabilities to meet products, quality and fulfillment ensuring outsources can meet requirements for performance, quality and delivery of the products and other applicable customer and internal system and reputation requirements.
  • Manage the process of auditing in order to identify non-compliance and opportunities for improving processes.
  • Lead and coordinate with outsource on customer complaint, non-conforming investigation to find out the root cause, feedback within time frame, action plan on customer complaint and customer inquiry for mitigate the issue effectively.
  • Manage to make sure the product compliance with all products certified standard (Halal, Kosher, Organic etc.) as customer requirement.
  • Identify impacts from new regulation guidelines and regulatory trends, monitor changes in regulations, and consider all proper measures needed to complete tasks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Food Science, Food Engineering, Food Technology, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Supply Chain Quality, or Supplier Quality Management within the food and beverage industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality and Food Safety Management System : BRCGS, GHPs, HACCP, IFS, Occupational Health Safety&Environment and Ethical standard is a must.
  • Strong knowledge of Product certification standard: Halal-CICOT, Halal-Indonesia, Kosher, Organic, VegeCert. etc.
  • Strong knowledge of Environment management System and Safety System.

  • Knowledge manufacturing process: Caning process, pasteurized and UHT process, extruder, etc. will be advantage.

  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.

  • Able and willing to travel upcountry.
