Assistant Legal Manager

Job Requirements
- Work with Headquarters' Legal Division and APAC Legal team to handle regional regulatory affairs such as telecommunications licence application, renewal, filing, inquiries, and other compliance matters.
- Provide practical legal solutions to internal stakeholders and advise on various cross border transactions
- Support legal affairs and contract management including contract drafting, negotiation, review and approvals etc.
- Provide internal training and prepare write-up to raise legal awareness and ensure compliance on day-to-day business operations
- Conduct legal research on the matter as required and regularly monitor and research on changes in local laws and regulations in the Asia-Pacific Region
- Liaise with external counsels and assist in handling ad-hoc projects
Job Requirements
- Degree in Laws (either Common Law or Civil Law)
- Qualified lawyer would be advantageous
- A minimum of 6 years' post-graduate experience with at least 4 years relevant in-house (e.g. telecommunications or technology sector) or law firm experience
- Working experience in a multinational and multicultural business environment is preferred, experience in Chinese company will be a plus.
