Job Description

Job description:

  • Actively evaluate information, analyze, and forecast economic/investment factors that are relevant to global investment market across asset classes (fixed income, equities, alternative investment instruments and etc…) and form asset allocation view
  • Analyze and have deep understanding in SCBAM's products, in order to estimate impact of different economic/investment factors to products' performance and risk
  • Collaborate with other investment departments within Investment Division (e.g., Asset Allocation & Fund of Fund, Fixed Income Investment, Traditional Equity Investment, Machine Learning Investment and etc…) to collate and form SCBAM's house view
  • Produce investment strategy reports/contents with investment recommendation and fund conviction on a timely basis
  • Integrate fundamental and global macro analyses to initiate thematic investing ideas
  • Create/maintain strong robust relationship with SCBAM's stakeholders (banks, selling agents and clients) through solid investment ideas and recommendations
  • Evaluate and analyze investment fund market in Thailand

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or any related fields
  • At least 5 years of work experience in investment-related fields
  • Knowledgeable in investment principles and regulations
  • Knowledgeable in economics, asset allocation, and fund selection
  • Intellectual curiosity and strong analytical skill
  • Good communication and presentation skill
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in English (writing and speaking)
  • Holder of CFA/CISA is preferable
