About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Accountant - General Ledger (GL) to join our dynamic team. As a full-time accountant, you will play a crucial role in the company's accounting and finance function. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in a fast-growing international organization within the music and entertainment industry.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accurate posting of journal entries, accruals, amortizations, and adjustments
- Prepare and review monthly internal financial reports and annual financial statements in full compliance with accounting standards
- Perform regular balance sheet reconciliations (cash, fixed assets, prepayments, accruals, provisions) to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Record and reconcile fixed asset accounts with the general ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Maintain the complete fixed asset register, ensuring all assets are accurately recorded, tagged, and tracked from acquisition to disposal
- Participate in fixed asset counts/inventories in line with company policy
- Prepare and submit depreciation reports to Accounting and Finance Manager
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation of journal vouchers, reconciliations, and supporting documentation
- Manage corporate tax filings, including VAT and corporate income tax (PND 50, 51)
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and ensure timely submission of all required documents
- Support the Accounting Manager in the preparation of financial reports and during the annual audit
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and liaise with departments such as Sales, Production, Operations, Artist Relations, F&B and Logistics/Warehouse to ensure accurate financial recording of event-related transactions
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support management decision-making
- Monitor compliance with internal controls and propose improvements to accounting policies and procedures for stronger financial governance
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience (GL-related experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Thai tax compliance and accounting standard (IFRS, TFRS)
- Experience with ERP systems (Peak, Exact, and/or SAP preferred)
- Good English communication skills
- Detail-oriented, proactive, positive attitude, and strong problem-solving skills
