Role Purpose
The Strategy Office – Head of People & Culture is responsible for how ppdd is organised, how people are supported and developed, and how the company's culture shows up in everyday work.
HR / People Operations will manage day-to-day HR processes (contracts, payroll, benefits). This role focuses on
organisation design, performance, engagement, and culture
, and works with the other teams to test and embed new ways of working inside the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and regularly review the
organisation structure
to support ppdd's multi-brand strategy and growth. - Plan People Strategy (skills roadmap, OD interventions, succession & mobility, plan exec, sponsor, people analytics, board reporting) according to company's value
- Work with leaders to plan
headcount and roles
, and identify where teams are over- or under-resourced. - Define
talent standards
and basic expectations for roles at different levels (e.g. junior, senior, manager). - Work with HR / People Ops to design and improve
hiring and onboarding processes
. - Set up and maintain
performance systems
: - goal/OKR setting,
- review cycles,
- feedback practices.
- Support managers in handling
performance conversations
and basic people issues. - Design and coordinate
company-wide people & culture initiatives
(town halls, offsites, internal sharing, recognition, simple learning activities). - Coordinate
engagement or satisfaction surveys
and work with leaders on follow-up actions. - Partner with the
other team
on internal behavior change trials (e.g. sustainability habits, collaboration practices) and help scale what works. - Provide regular updates and impact reports on
organisation health
to the Strategy Office and CEO (turnover, engagement, headcount vs plan).
Requirements
- 8–12+ years' experience in
HR, People, People & Culture, or Organisation Development
, ideally in creative, digital, or fast-paced environments. - Experience in
designing or improving
org structures, performance systems, or culture/engagement programs. - Able to work with both senior leadership and team members with trust and clarity.
- Comfortable using basic people data (turnover, engagement, headcount, etc.) to support decisions.
- Able to balance empathy for people with business needs and constraints.
