General Ledger (GL) Accountant Specialist Position at the Factory in Samut Sakhon Provice,

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented General Ledger Accountant to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger, ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions, and performing daily reconciliations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Perform daily reconciliation of bank transactions, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.
• Reconcile accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) weekly, ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.
• Analyze stock and variance reports to ensure inventory accuracy and cost control.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information.
• Continuously improve processes related to the general ledger and financial reporting.

Qualifications:

• Must be a Thailand citizen.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in general ledger accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment or retail.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be able to work 6 days per week at the factory in Samut Sakhon Province.
