Position Summary

The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting operations of the hotel, ensuring accuracy of accounting records, compliance with applicable laws and statutory requirements, and the effectiveness of internal control systems. This role supports the management team by providing financial insights, managing budgets, and leading the accounting team to achieve operational excellence and long-term financial stability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Payroll, and General Ledger
  • Prepare and review accurate monthly and annual financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements
  • Monitor and control hotel budgets, revenues, and expenses
  • Establish and maintain effective internal control systems
  • Liaise with external auditors and government authorities
  • Lead, supervise, and develop the accounting team
  • Ensure all accounting transactions are completed accurately and reported to the CEO in a timely manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the CEO or management company
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
  • Strong proficiency in accounting systems and financial closing processes
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Strong numerical analysis and financial planning skills
  • High level of responsibility and professional accounting ethics
  • Basic knowledge of tax regulations, including withholding tax and VAT filing
