Nice to know:

Accounting Manager is responsible for managing the local country statutory books compliance and archives process. This position also oversees the month end closing and yearly submission related to statutory financial statements including periodic assets scrapping and counting process. This position will also lead year-end audits, internal audit and follow up the internal procedures to ensure the compliance of internal controls and processes with local and IFRS standards. He or she will be the primary response to local authorities regarding accounting and statutory matters.

Your day at EssilorLuxottica:

• Check the consistency and accuracy of payables, receivables, fixed assets, general ledger and statutory books with legal and Group requirements.
• Validate the completeness and accuracy of the month end closing and yearly submission related to statutory financial statements, including JV validation and posting process.
• Coordinate with Group Business Service (GBS) China on payables, receivables and GL related matters including the supporting documents submission and the monthly reconciliation process.
• Prepare and review finance and accounting reports
• Validate Figures reporting related to payables, receivables, fixed assets and general ledger accounts in Hyperion Sustainability.
• Coordinate with Group Consolidation on finance and accounting related matters.
• Provide guidance for payables, receivables, assets and transfer pricing archives and documentation.
• Ensure coherence between the data used by FP&A sections and the legal books of accounts.
• Organize periodic fixed assets physical counting as per local and Group standards requirement.
• Manage the fixed assets scrapping process with stakeholders and external audits.
• Participate in the annual budgeting exercise and forecasting related to finance and accounting functions.
• Ensure that finance and accounting processes are in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Manage finance and accounting related internal controls to ensure the compliance with the requirement of local and IFRS standards.
• Coordinate with Accounting Auditor and Revenue Department regarding statutory and accounting compliance matters.
• Propose process / systems improvements required to ensure all of above
• Responsible for implementation of company policies and procedures in their area of work

Must have:

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred).
• 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing environment, auditing, BOI is preferred
• Expert knowledge of basic accounting standard (Loal GAAP and IFRS) and Fixed Asset
• Expert knowledge on accounting and local tax law (especially statutory related).
• Excellent analytical skills, able to work with dynamic and high complexity
• MS Applications skill i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc. Knowledge in SAP is preferred.
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Good command of English (written and spoken)
