Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop new products in the automotive industry using 3D CAD and 2D drawings with GD&T and technical specifications.
  • Analyze design risks through DFMEA and assess material strength using FEA simulations.
  • Research new technologies and opportunities in collaboration with the marketing team to drive innovation.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, select appropriate materials, and optimize manufacturing processes in coordination with engineering and production teams.
  • Manage design documentation such as BOM, ECR/ECN, and implement engineering changes while maintaining the IMDS system.
  • Support problem-solving activities, perform root cause analysis, and propose permanent corrective actions in cooperation with the quality team.
  • Coordinate and motivate cross-functional teams to ensure efficient project execution according to schedule.
  • Utilize English communication skills to enhance clarity and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Male and Female age 25-35 years old.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in designing automotive industrial components.
  • Skilled in problem analysis using FTA and capable of creating and clearly explaining DFMEA or PFMEA.
  • Proficient in 2D and 3D design software such as GstarCAD, CATIA, ProCAD, or SolidWorks, including experience with CAE analysis tools.
  • Highly motivated and able to work well under pressure.
  • Passionate about drafting, design analysis, and prototype development.
  • Basic knowledge of material properties, including plastics, metals, and rubber.
  • Strong presentation skills using PowerPoint and confident in expressing opinions.
