Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Senior-Level Data Engineer to join our team and help build, optimize, and maintain our data infrastructure. You will be responsible for developing scalable data pipelines, ensuring data integrity, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines to process large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
  • Optimize data storage, retrieval, and performance in data warehouses and data lakes.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Implement and manage data integration processes between various data sources and platforms.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across the organization.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Work with cloud-based data infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and leverage big data technologies.
  • Develop and maintain database schemas, indexing strategies, and query optimization techniques.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in data engineering, database management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Golang, Javascript, or Scala for data processing.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Apache Airflow,  Dagster, dbt, or Talend.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and services like S3, Redshift, BigQuery, or Snowflake.
  • Familiarity with data modeling, warehousing concepts, and data lake architectures.
  • Experience with distributed computing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Knowledge of real-time data processing frameworks (Flink, Spark Streaming, or Kafka Streams).
  • Familiarity with machine learning pipelines and MLOps concepts.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
