PURPOSE / WHAT IS THE ROLE?

As the Assistant Director of Sales, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market share across corporate, OTA, leisure, and MICE segments. The role focuses on leading sales strategies, developing key accounts, and establishing strategic partnerships that enhance profitability.

Your primary objective is to deliver strong sales and revenue performance while working closely with the marketing team to ensure that campaigns and creative initiatives effectively support conversion and overall business goals. This position requires a disciplined, motivated, and commercially minded individual who can translate a distinct brand identity into measurable business success.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Revenue

• Achieve and surpass revenue targets across all market segments.

• Build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate clients, OTAs, travel agencies, and event organizers.

• Negotiate contracts, rates, and partnerships in alignment with the hotel's revenue strategy.

• Identify new business opportunities and design tactical offers to enhance ADR and RevPAR.

• Conduct regular market and competitor analysis to anticipate trends and adjust strategies accordingly.

• Represent the hotel at trade fairs, roadshows, and client events to generate new business opportunities.

Leadership & Strategy

• Lead, guide, and inspire the sales team to meet objectives in line with company goals.

• Collaborate closely with the General Manager and Revenue team to ensure alignment on pricing and distribution strategies.

• Prepare accurate sales budgets, forecasts, and business plans, ensuring accountability and transparency.

Marketing Alignment

• Partner with the marketing team to ensure campaigns effectively drive sales conversion.

• Participate in organizing FAM trips, influencer partnerships, and creative promotions that strengthen brand positioning and generate bookings.

• Ensure all client communications reflect the brand's tone—confident, engaging, and refined.


QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in hospitality, preferably within luxury, lifestyle, or design-led hotels, with a proven track record in Corporate, OTA, MICE, and international markets.

• Strong ability to negotiate contracts, manage key accounts, and deliver measurable revenue growth.

• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide teams and nurture long-term client relationships.

• Self-motivated, disciplined, and energetic, with a refined sense of aesthetics and appreciation for design, lifestyle, and premium guest experiences.

• Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages such as Mandarin or Korean is an advantage.
