Job Summary

The role involves working closely with external vendors and cross-functional teams, manage production timelines to ensure timely delivery of quality products. The candidate must have good knowledge production processes of EDC & Tools category (i.e. Nylon bags, Belts).   This position requires good analytical and problem solving skills and ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor production status of all open orders, ensuring production activities are aligned with set timelines to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Hong Kong - merchandising, planning, QA and logistics teams throughout the supply chain cycle.
  • Maintain accurate production records and order tracking information.
  • Resolve production and quality issues promptly and drive continuous improvement in the follow-up and monitoring process.
  • Manage supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance.
  • Perform ad-hoc assignments as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field with at least 3 years' experience in merchandising roles (preferably in EDC & Tools category).
  • Experience in offshore manufacturing processes and knowledge in production development is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented, excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Proactive and solution/result-oriented attitude.
  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels of staffs.
  • Ability to multi-tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Fluent in spoken & written English.
  • Be available for business travels when required.
