JOB BRIEF

The Marketing Specialist supports The Monk Studios and The Monk Games in building brand visibility within the global animation, VFX, and games industry. This role focuses on content creation, social media management, B2B marketing communications, and supporting industry events and trade shows. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and able to collaborate effectively with internal teams to execute marketing initiatives that strengthen the studio's brand and services.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute data-driven marketing campaigns for The Monk Studios and The Monk Games.
  • Conduct market research and analyze data to measure effectiveness and inform future strategies.
  • Craft compelling content (written, visual) for social media and marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with vendor and internal teams (design, development, production, back office) on marketing initiatives.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate marketing results and insights.
  • Assist with event and trade show preparation and execution.
  • Assist in the creation, scheduling and management of content for social media.
  • Performing and responsibilities are compliance with regulations and internal audit processes.

JOB AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship skills.
  • Fast learner with an ability to adapt techniques based on requirements.
  • An open mindset and will seek out feedback to refine and develop their skills.
  • The ability to problem-solve.
  • Solid organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) a plus.
