Assistant Manager

The Assistant IT Delivery Manager supports the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects and operational initiatives. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives while maintaining service quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :Project & Program Support
● Assist in managing multiple concurrent IT projects from initiation through closure
● Coordinate cross-functional resources including development, infrastructure, and vendor teams
● Track project milestones, dependencies, and critical path items
● Escalate blockers and risks to senior leadership with recommended mitigation strategies
Operational Delivery
● Monitor service delivery metrics and SLA compliance across IT operations
● Facilitate daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives for agile delivery teams
● Maintain project documentation including status reports, RAID logs, and change requests
● Support incident management coordination during service disruptions
Stakeholder Management
● Serve as primary point of contact for project stakeholders across business units
● Translate technical deliverables into business impact communications
● Gather requirements and ensure alignment between technical solutions and business needs
● Manage stakeholder expectations through transparent reporting and proactive updates
Resource & Vendor Coordination
● Coordinate resource allocation across competing project priorities
● Manage vendor deliverables and ensure contractual obligations are met
● Track budget utilization and flag variances to senior management
● Facilitate technical reviews and quality assurance checkpoints
Requirements :Experience
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
● years in IT project coordination, delivery management, or technical program management
● Demonstrated experience managing large scaled projects
● Track record of delivering projects involving multiple technical disciplines (infrastructure, applications, security)
Technical Knowledge
● Understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, DevOps)
● Familiarity with common technology stacks, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and enterprise architecture
● Working knowledge of ITIL frameworks and service management principles
● Proficiency with project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, ServiceNow)

● Strong organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities
● Analytical mindset with attention to detail in tracking deliverables and metrics
● Excellent presentation skills with ability to distill complex business/technical information into clear, actionable insights for executive audiences
● Effective communicator capable of interfacing with technical teams and business leadership
● Problem-solving orientation with bias toward action and resolution
Preferred Qualifications● PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification
● Experience in regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, government)
● Background in Technical IT project management, development, or operations
● Exposure to enterprise transformation initiatives or large-scale system implementations
