Role Description

  • Proactively prospect, develop, and cultivate sales leads to build a sales pipeline.
  • Display a thorough understanding of the assigned account's business needs and revenue potential.
  • Grow & maintain advertisers and agency relationships to effectively build and grow ad revenue.
  • Analyse data trends and campaign performances to formulate strategic sales pitches.
  • Responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets according to the sales game plan.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of the new services and competition status.
  • Prepare innovative & turn-key sales proposals (across multiple sites) to meet clients' needs and expectations.
  • Presents, negotiates, and sells digital media solutions to prospective agency and direct clients, typically pitching to media planners and marketing managers.
  • Responsible for overseeing and ensuring the correct follow-up with the client.
  • Responsible for proactively monitoring clients' campaigns/ ads on competitor sites and observing competitors' new offerings.
  • Recommending effective media solutions and providing campaign updates to ensure that our advertisers are satisfied with their ROI.
  • Take full responsibility for the advertiser's campaign management, including contracts and billings.
  • Responsible for reporting weekly sales achievements and pipeline growth to Head of Media Sales on a regular and accurate basis.

Qualifications

  • Requires at least 5-8 years of experience in media sales.
  • Familiarity with automotive, banking, and insurance industries is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of advertising, competitive strategy, product marketing, and product management.
  • Excellent commercial awareness, strategic agility, and the ability to turn strategy into actionable execution.
  • Highly proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and adapt quickly to change.
  • Team player mindset with a results-driven, entrepreneurial approach.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and present persuasively.
  • Trustworthy, diplomatic, and able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
