Main duties and responsibilities :

  1. Assess and audit outsourced factories/external manufacturers (Outsource), including inspecting production standards and quality management systems for food safety (onsite/online audit).
  2. Inspect and control the production process, trace products, monitor, and audit the production process of outsourced factories to ensure compliance with set standards and requirements. This includes checking adherence to hygiene requirements, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), and HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points).
  3. Collaborate with outsourced factories/external manufacturers to develop and improve quality control standards, as well as quality inspection practices. Create and update documents related to quality control, such as operational manuals, quality control plans, and product traceability documents.
  4. Handle complaints and problem-solving by managing complaints from customers or quality inspections, analyzing the root causes, and working with the outsourced factory to develop and implement corrective actions. Follow up to ensure problems are resolved correctly.
  5. Conduct audits and reporting: Perform regular audits and report the results to the management team and relevant departments. Prepare reports on product quality and safety using electronic dashboards/real-time reporting, and provide recommendations for necessary improvements.
  6. Training and support: Provide training to teams at outsourced factories/external manufacturers on relevant quality control standards and processes.
  7. Offer consultation to domestic and international sales teams, sourcing, and new business teams (Taokaenoi project) on product quality control and assurance at outsourced factories/external manufacturers. Provide support in implementing guidelines and standards.
  8. Develop an electronic system for storing audit, complaint, and corrective action data for outsourced factories/external manufacturers, in collaboration with the CPF IT team and relevant departments.
  9. Develop a quality control and assurance management system for outsourced factories/external manufacturers (Outsource) within CPF's IT system/software/Big Data/Axon

Qualification :

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Food Science, Quality Control, Food Engineering, or a related field
  • Certification in auditing (or certified as a Lead Auditor for ISO22000/BRC systems)
  • At least 5 years of experience in food industry quality assurance or related fields in food quality control and assurance
  • Experience in quality control in food manufacturing or production management to ensure that products from outsourced factories meet the required quality and safety standards
  • At least 2 years of experience in auditing food factories
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and the ability to apply and manage quality assurance and hygiene programs according to GMP & HACCP / ISO22000 standards
  • Ability to manage and plan quality inspection and control
  • Attention to detail in managing documents and data related to quality control
