Position Purpose & Summary

Develop new products and change product by plastic and silicone injection. The position requires reporting and proceeding with the request to purchase mold, machinery and new tools, both internally and externally. Also, contact and prepare raw materials for new product development by planning and coordinating with all relevant parties. He/she has to summarize the results of new product development before approving the production department to proceed with production.

The position requires to verify and modify the machines for new production process or have to change by planning the experiment and issuing documents for approval to use.

Responsibilities:

  1. Contact departments both inside and outside for the new mold installation tool.
  2. Follow up on trials and test new products. Evaluate the equipment to be used in the experiment.
  3. Coordinate with customers to make new molds and prepare materials.
  4. Coordinate with Purchasing, Sales, Production, Quality Control and the seller regarding the packaging
  5. Trial new product and prepare trial report
  6. Collect relevant technical data
  7. Prepare ECN for engineering changes.
  8. Comply with the rules and regulations set by the company.
  9. Support to cooperate in various activities of the company.
  10. Consider presenting relevant persons to attend the meeting or analyze production problems.
  11. Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Education or Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering (I.E), Polymer or related fields)
  2. At least 0-3 years (Special experience in silicone or polymer products and CP, CPK will be an advantage.)
  3. Good understanding of team based self-management principles and good relationship
  4. Good computer and English skill
  5. Familiar with CI tools (5S, Kaizen, Lean. Etc.)
  6. Able to draw engineering drawings and design the production process
  7. Process own car and driving license
  8. * Can work Saturday once a month.
