Primary Function (Why does the job exist?):

This position will work under general direction of the Financial Controller on the financial activities and accounting functions, monitor cash flow in companies and control money transmission tools including managing bank accounts, maintaining financial records, performing banking operations, providing financial advice to the company, and handling the cash management system.

Responsibilities

Payable

  • Responsible for all processes of payable local invoices
  • Responsible for all processes of payable oversea invoices
  • Payable revaluation preparation and reconciliation
  • Review employees'-imbursement expenses and ensure all are complied with company policy

Payment and Treasury duties

  • Responsible for payment process into ERP system and banking system
  • Various taxes payment before due
  • Provident Fund and social security fund payment before due
  • Preparation and submission of the withholding tax on Local & oversea invoices
  • Petty cash holder
  • Review petty cash expenses and proceed into ERP system
  • Control Company cash advance
  • Cash flow forecasting submittal into iShare
  • Control of Bank guarantee in Thailand
  • Responsible for hedging contracts, revaluation and reconciliation
  • Banking contact person both HSBC and Kasikorn
  • Preparation of any documents for banking i.e. changing of signatory persons

Inventory

  • Adjusted on Freight charges or late costs into stock unit price
  • Prepared Consignment stock adjustment from store reports
  • Prepared Consignment notification report to suppliers
  • Control and reconcile month end stock accounts
  • To be an auditor of Inventory cycle count by bi-weekly basis
  • To be a checker of physical inventory on a yearly basis

General Ledger

  • Review and post all accrual for month-end closing
  • Review and ensure that all expenditure booking to correct GL account
  • Review reconciliations to ensure that they are prepared properly and follow-up on any unusual items

Month end

  • Preparation of monthly Bank Reconciliation, Accrued Expenses, All Advance Expense every month
  • Responsible banking report into iShare per Treasury policy
  • Prepared commission and related expenses to the agent on a quarterly basis

Taxation

  • Responsible for withholding tax submittal to the Revenue Department and payments
  • Assist to Half-Year tax computation on added back expenses
  • Assist to yearly CIT tax computation on added back expenses

Intercompany

  • Review and post all intercompany recharges

Report

  • Balance Sheet reconciliation for responsible accounts for monthly and quarterly

Others

  • Assist Financial Controller for Budget & Forecast
  • Other ad-hoc tasks as being assigned by Financial Controller
