Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Junior SOC (Security Operations Center) Engineer to join our team in Bangkok. This on-site role involves monitoring network activity, analyzing logs, identifying security incidents, and responding to cyber threats in real time. Responsibilities include assisting in maintaining cybersecurity tools, supporting investigations, and providing technical expertise to ensure robust defense mechanisms. The role offers an excellent opportunity to grow and develop your skills within a fast-paced, challenging security environment.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity Fundamentals and Network Security Concepts
- Experience with Tools such as Firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)
- Proficiency in Monitoring, Analyzing Logs, and Identifying Security Incidents
- Collaboration and Problem-Solving Skills in Team Environments
- Attention to Detail with Strong Analytical and Organizational Abilities
- Familiarity with Incident Response and Threat Mitigation Strategies
- Basic Understanding of Operating Systems (Windows, Linux) and Scripting/Programming
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or similar are advantageous
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- 24x7 Shift Working
- Willing to learn new technology
