Job Summary

The Specialist, Senior Financial Analyst delivers high-quality financial analysis and clear recommendations to the CEO, ExCom, and the Head of CEO Office & Strategic Project Department to enable timely, value-accretive decisions. The role contributes to feasibility studies and M&A evaluations (screening, modeling, valuation, due diligence support), monitors enterprise and BU-level KPIs, and highlights risks and opportunities versus targets. The analyst develops and presents concise, board-quality materials and ensures cross-functional alignment with Finance, Strategy, and BU teams so that insights translate into actions and measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

(The position is equivalent to Senior Manger/AVP level)

  • Deliver clear financial analysis and recommendations on key business issues to CEO/ExCom, including options, scenario comparisons, and "so-what" implications
  • Conduct feasibility studies and business case evaluations, including market sizing, unit economics, sensitivities, and investment returns (ROIC, NPV, IRR)
  • Prepare executive-level materials (ExCom/Board decks, dashboards, decision memos) to support timely decisions
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial risks/opportunities vs. plan; highlight variances and propose corrective actions
  • Build and maintain financial models (driver-based forecasts, stress tests, scenario analysis) to support planning and decision-making

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related field.
  • 7–10 years in financial analysis, corporate finance, or M&A (buy-side/sell-side/PE/strategy).
  • Consulting background preferred; telecom/technology exposure a plus.
  • Financial modeling & valuation: Advanced Excel; DCF, comps/precedents, scenario & sensitivity
  • Analytical storytelling: Turn data into clear, actionable insights; articulate options, trade-offs, and risks
  • Communication: Confident with senior leaders; crisp, visual executive materials (PPT, memo)
  • Tools: Excel (advanced), PowerPoint (advanced); Power BI/Tableau and SQL/Python (nice-to-have)
  • Domain: Understanding of telco/tech economics (ARPU, churn, network capex, spectrum/licensing) preferred
  • Languages: Thai and English (professional working proficiency)
