REPORTING TO: Team Head of Investment Operations

ROLE

This position plays a key role in managing daily operational work with efficiency, accuracy and punctuality and also assists the division head to figure out new working approach and procedure to be more systematical to help prevent any possible occurrences of error and problem in order to increase efficiency of work, reduce unnecessary and duplicated tasks and be easy to follow up and solve the problem. For mark to market part involves pricing and valuing the security or portfolio to reflect the current market value. The part of corporate action is about monitoring and following up local and foreign securities and recognize all benefit on the date of declaration for the NAV calculation.

Candidates need to have in-depth knowledge of finance and accounting and also the security types, pricing methods, mark to market and valuation approach and the corporate action. Moreover, the candidates need to have the experiences about mutual fund, provident fund and private fund and can under pressure, prioritize and deliver against challenging deadlines include problem solving correctly and quickly.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Support Operation team and Investment team
  • Create and update Securities data in the systems
  • Setup portfolio data in all system
  • Validate pricing of securities along with market price and EITH's standards e.g. foreign and local equities, foreign and local fixed income and foreign and local unit trust (including the completeness and correctness of the details received from counter parties).
  • Validate the valuation of derivatives contract to be in line with market price (including the completeness and correctness of the details received from counter parties)
  • Monitoring and following up corporate action of local and foreign securities and generate entitlement for funds

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related fields
  • Experiences in asset management and financial institution will be an advantage
  • Good understanding of financial products and corporate actions is preferred

CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES:

  • Ability to communicate in both Thai and English (Written and verbal)
  • Experienced using Hiportfolio
  • Experienced in Fund admin
  • Excellent communication and relationship skills
  • Ability to work under pressure meeting challenging deadlines
  • Ability to work on own initiative
