Maintenance Supervisor

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for managing and overseeing all maintenance activities for food processing machinery. This role ensures that preventive and corrective maintenance are effectively performed, minimizing machine downtime and supporting smooth production operations. The supervisor will also perform root cause analysis for equipment failures and ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.

• Supervise and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance of food processing machinery in the production area.
• Monitor machine performance to control and minimize downtime and ensure continuous production.
• Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive measures.
• Oversee maintenance operations within the assigned production area (response area).
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with food safety and quality standards, including IFS, BRC, GHP, HACCP, Halal, and customer-specific requirements.
• Prepare maintenance schedules, work orders, and reports on machine performance, breakdowns, and improvements.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure smooth operations and timely maintenance support.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and monitor usage to support operational readiness.
• Train and mentor maintenance staff to enhance technical skills and adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment efficiency, reliability, and safety.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in maintenance within the food processing or canned product industry.
• Strong understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
• Knowledge of food manufacturing standards: IFS, BRC, GHP, HACCP, Halal, and customer-specific requirements.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement practical solutions.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS) is preferred.
