Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to engage with government agencies, policymakers, and regulatory bodies to influence policy decisions and advocate for industry-related issues.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments relevant to the industry, and advise senior management on potential impacts and opportunities.
- Lead the company's international strategy and initiatives, and identify and explore opportunities for international expansion and partnerships.
- Represent the company in international forums, meetings, and negotiations.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry groups, and other relevant organizations.
- Develop comprehensive stakeholder mapping reports for both public and private sectors. Also, conduct in-depth research and analysis on public policy issues and global trends.
- Prepare reports and presentations to inform senior management and support decision-making.
- Collect, analyze, and report on relevant government policies and international developments.
- Ensure the company remains informed about policy changes and global trends that may affect its operations.
- Plan and execute events, conferences, and webinars to enhance corporate visibility and thought leadership.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the corporate affairs team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate affairs, public relations, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing high-level communication strategies and successfully handling crisis situations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media, government officials, and community leaders.
- Experience in managing a team and working cross-functionally with other departments.
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex information and present it in a clear, actionable format.
- Proactive, results-oriented, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
