BOI Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and driven BOI Specialist to join our team at APR Packaging (Thailand) Co., Ltd. in Mueang Samut Prakan, Samut Prakan. As a full-time role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the seamless import and export of goods, adhering to all relevant customs regulations and procedures.

What you'll be doing

1. Ensuring the company's operations and activities adhere to BOI regulations and guidelines
2. Prepare and submit all necessary BOI applications, reports, customs documentation, including import/export declarations, invoices, and other required forms in a timely manner
3. Liaise with customs authorities and other relevant government agencies to facilitate the clearance of goods to address BOI-related matters
4. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of BOI, customs laws, regulations, and policies, and ensure compliance
5. Providing guidance and support to the management team and internal teams on customs-related matters on BOI-related issues and strategies
6. Analyze and report on customs-related data to identify areas for improvement
7. Collaborate with logistics and procurement teams to optimize the import/export process
8. Assist in the development and implementation of customs-related policies and procedures
9. Assisting with the preparation and audit of BOI-related financial records and statements
10. Developing and implementing BOI compliance procedures and training programs for the organization

What we're looking for

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a in BOI compliance, customs or logistics role, preferably within the manufacturing or import/export industry
2. Excellent understanding of customs laws, regulations, and procedures, particularly in Thailand
3. Strong understanding of BOI regulations, policies, and application processes
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to analyze and interpret data
6. Problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve customs-related issues
7. Attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring accuracy in all customs-related tasks
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
