Position Overview:
Responsible for assisting and supporting the Operation Management Team in planning, implementing, and controlling the organization's Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) management system to ensure full compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and international standards. The role also drives organizational culture in occupational health, safety, and environmental stewardship, contributing to the achievement of the company's sustainability goals.
Responsibilities:
· Plan, supervise, and manage the project's Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) management system to ensure full compliance with legal requirements, environmental standards, and company policies.
· Inspect, analyze, and assess safety and environmental risks, and develop appropriate preventive and corrective measures.
· Oversee and monitor contractors' and vendors' safety and environmental performance to ensure compliance with project standards and requirements.
· Prepare inspection reports and accident/incident reports and provide recommendations for corrective and preventive actions to supervisors and relevant departments.
· Promote and strengthen safety, occupational health, and environmental awareness among employees and all related parties at all levels.
· Support internal and external audits, inspections, and assessments by relevant authorities (e.g., Department of Industrial Works, Department of Labour Protection and Welfare, Pollution Control Department) and ensure readiness for SHE-related certifications and compliance.
· Develop emergency preparedness and response plans, including training and drills (e.g., Fire Drill, Chemical Spill, Evacuation), and supervise their execution.
· Prepare and submit accident reports, risk assessment reports, and environmental reports to management and relevant government agencies.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
· Must hold a valid Professional Safety Officer (จป. วิชาชีพ) certification as required by law.
· Minimum of 10 years of experience in safety management within construction or industrial projects.
· Strong understanding of safety laws, factory regulations, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, OHSAS standards, and labour laws.
· Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
· Leadership, team management, strategic planning, decision-making, and communication.
· Highly responsible, detail-oriented, strong coordination skills, and a clear vision for fostering a proactive safety culture.
