TS - Mechanical Engineer (Rotating / Static)

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer, reporting directly to Department Manager to join our team based in Bangkok.

About the mission we offer you:

• Perform the tasks assigned by Lead/Senior/Principal Engineer on onshore or offshore feasibility, conceptual, basic engineering, FEED, detailed design and EPC/ EPCM projects.
• Ensure the technical quality and accuracy of the work produced and the assigned tasks are completed on time.
• Liaise with other departments, clients, vendors, subcontractors and third parties as per Lead Engineers instruction.
• Participate in inter-disciplines, project, client and vendor meetings when requested by the Lead Engineer.
• Assist Lead/Senior/Principal Engineer in proposal preparation and cost estimates.
• Act as an intermediate checker when assigned by Lead/Senior/Principal Engineer.
• Primary involvement in a typical project includes:
• Rotating equipment selection/sizing and engineering OR Mechanical design and engineering of Static Equipment AND/OR design and engineering of Packages AND/OR design and engineering of HVAC system.
• Perform site visits (onshore and offshore) as required by the Lead/Senior/Principal Engineer.
• Prepare equipment mechanical data sheets, specifications & requisitions/enquiry packages.
• Perform vendor offer review & prepare technical clarifications and technical bid evaluation.
• Carryout vendor drawings/documents review and vendor data incorporation.
• Prepare other deliverables like mechanical equipment list, material handling study report, design adequacy check report etc.
• Review inter-discipline drawings and documents such as P&IDs, equipment layout, equipment foundation drawing etc.
• Witness shop inspection and testing.
• Assist in plant erection, commissioning and start-up.

About you:
We love to hear from you and how you match with this position. To be successful in this mission you should consider the following requirements:

• Bachelors Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum Level-I Professional Engineering license from the Council of Engineers of Thailand (if any).
• Five (5) to ten (10) years experience in mechanical equipment design and engineering in Oil & Gas, Refineries, Petrochemical, Chemical and related industries.
• Highly motivated and very keen to learn & accept new challenges.
• Conversant with Local and International Codes and Standards like API, ASTM, ASME, ANSI, TEMA, ISO, ASHRAE, ARI, NFPA, UL, FM etc.
• Knowledge on machine Noise, Vibration and auxiliary units (seal oil, lube oil, shaft sealing, drives etc.)
• Knowledge on materials, welding technology and European codes & standards will be an added advantage.
• Computer literacy with good knowledge on MS-office, mechanical equipment design calculation and/or HVAC design calculation software packages.
