Our client is a leading automotive parts manufacturer supplying high-quality components to global OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.

Responsibilities
  • Manage new product introductions and product changes from concept to completion ("cradle to grave"), covering pre-award planning, launch, and post-project support.
  • Understand and fulfill customer requirements for samples, documentation, and submissions, ensuring complete satisfaction.
  • Maintain clear and accurate project documentation, including regular reporting to global teams.
  • Create, manage, and drive 'open issues' lists to ensure timely resolution.
  • Plan and execute projects within defined timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing processes specific to assigned products.
  • Participate in product validation activities to ensure compliance with performance and quality standards.
  • Adhere to company rules, standard documentation, and operational protocols.
  • Maintain 5S and housekeeping standards in all work areas.
  • Actively support and promote cost reduction initiatives, continuous improvement (CI), and Health & Safety (HSE) programs.
  • Ensure compliance with SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) regulations and company requirements.
  • Stop production immediately if quality issues arise that may affect product integrity.
  • Authorize shutdowns of operations in uncontrolled situations that may pose risks to safety, health, or the environment (with approval from the Engineering Manager).
  • Guarantee the delivery of best-in-class product quality to customers.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive manufacturing, preferably with a Tier 1 supplier.
  • Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (GD&T).
  • In-depth knowledge of IATF16949 and proven experience in quality systems and standards.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and related engineering or project management software.
