Supply Chain Manager

Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Planning and Strategy

· Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with company goals and market demand.

· Develop Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) / Integrated Business Planning (IBP) jointly with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to balance demand and supply and align with financial objectives; establish a monthly/quarterly review cadence.

· Establish an Inventory and Safety Stock policy segmented by temperature, product age.

· Ensure continuous improvement in supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

· Monitor and forecast product demand to plan inventory and production efficiently.

· Lead team to maintain optimal stock levels to balance supply and demand efficiently.

· Design and establish the process design and governance framework (policies/requirements) covering SOPs, WIs, and process flows for all Supply Chain Management activities, ensuring alignment and linkage with Procurement Regulations and Finance & Accounting Regulations, as well as other relevant functions, together with a document control system and ongoing periodic review.

Supplier Management

· Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers of raw materials, packaging, and contract manufacturers.

· Ensure supplier compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and regulatory standards.

· Negotiate pricing and manage procurement costs while ensuring quality and efficiency

Production and Inventory Control

· Collaborate with production, QA, and PD to plan production schedules and manage material availability.

· Oversee inventory accuracy and maintain optimal stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock.

· Implement effective inventory control systems (FIFO/FEFO) and ensure traceability.

· Monitor and maintain product shelf life and expiry status to ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO), and provide product shelf life reports to the Accounting Department for accurate inventory valuation.

· Lead team to prepare reconciliation of finished goods, raw materials, and packaging stock between Company, factory and Supplier records.

· Lead team to participate in periodic physical stock counts and oversee product destruction processes in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements.

· Verify alignment between physical stock, system data, and accounting records.

· Lead team to maintain optimal stock levels to balance supply and demand efficiently.

· Act as a key contact between the company and suppliers regarding stock and shipment status.

· Provide regular inventory and reconciliation reports to management and relevant departments.

· Identify process gaps and propose improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and stock accuracy.

Logistics and Distribution

· Undertake the sourcing, selection, engagement, and performance management of distributor and fulfillment service providers (3PL/4PL) to ensure product readiness and deliveries in accordance with the Company's requirements for quantity, quality, delivery location, and schedule.

· Manage warehousing, transportation, and product distribution processes.

· Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely and compliant delivery of finished goods.

· Monitor special storage requirements for pharmaceutical and supplement products.

· Coordinate with internal and external parties on material transfers and shipments.

· Ensure shipping and delivery terms comply with agreed Incoterms (e.g., EXW, FOB, CIF, DDP).

· Review related documents such as Delivery Notes, Packing Lists, and Commercial Invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with trade terms.

· Oversee the import and export logistics to ensure compliance with international trade regulations.

· Ensure all shipments comply with required import/export documentation and customs regulations.

· Negotiate and coordinate with freight forwarders, customers brokers, and suppliers for efficiency and cost-effective transportation

· Prepare and verify all necessary documents such as invoices, certificates of origin, and bills of lading for smooth international transactions

Compliance and Quality Assurance

· Ensure compliance with GDP, GMP, FDA, and other regulatory requirements.

· Collaborate with QA/QC to handle supplier audits, product recalls, and non-conformance issues.

· Maintain proper documentation for traceability and regulatory inspections.

Leadership and Cross-functional Collaboration

· Lead and develop a high-performing supply chain team.

· Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance & Accounting, Procurement, and Quality Assurance to ensure business and operational alignment.

· Drive digital transformation and use of ERP/MRP systems for data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.

· Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain or operations, preferably in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or FMCG industry.

· Strong knowledge of GMP, GDP, FDA, and related regulatory standards.

· Good understanding of Incoterms and international trade documentation.

· Experience in ERP systems (e.g., SAP).

· Excellent command of English and Thai (both written and verbal).
