Headquartered in Europe and backed by a Japanese parent company, they are driving digital innovation across the Southeast Asia Market Place Sector and looking for an experienced Financial Leader to take on the following role:

REGIONAL CFO -eCommerce Market Place

The Regional CFO will lead all finance and accounting functions across Southeast Asia, ensuring financial discipline, regulatory compliance, and strategic growth. Reporting to the Global CFO in Europe and partnering closely with the Regional CEO in Thailand, this role is ideal for a seasoned finance leader with international experience in digital marketplaces, or e-commerce sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and execute regional financial strategy aligned with global goals
  • Advise on market expansion, M&A, and investment opportunities
  • Support fundraising and investor relations across SEA

Financial Operations:

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting across SEA entities
  • Ensure compliance with local standards and IFRS
  • Consolidate regional P&L, balance sheets, and cash flows
  • Drive working capital optimization and cost control

Governance & Compliance:

  • Establish internal controls and risk management frameworks
  • Ensure audit readiness and coordinate with auditors
  • Maintain compliance across multi-country subsidiaries

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing regional finance team
  • Promote best practices in ERP, analytics, and reporting
  • Foster collaboration across Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, and beyond

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (MBA preferred)
  • CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification
  • 12+ years of senior finance experience, including 5+ years in a regional CFO or VP Finance role
  • Experience in PropTech, e-commerce, or digital marketplaces
  • Strong understanding of SEA financial, tax, and regulatory environments
  • Proven track record in strategic planning, M&A, and multi-country operations
  • Profile with prior experience in Asia preferred
  • Fluent in English
