KorumLegal is seeking an experienced Commercial and Technology Lawyer to join our panel of legal professionals. This role involves a secondment to a leading client in the technology consulting space, where you will provide legal, contract, and commercial counsel in support of complex transactions. This is a fully remote contract position with a duration of 6+ month.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for leading, structuring, drafting, and negotiating complex client transactions, including master services agreements, technology licensing agreements, SaaS agreements, and data transfer agreements. You will also handle agreements involving emerging technologies such as cloud, blockchain, and security. Additionally, you will contribute to internal guidelines, toolkits, and knowledge-sharing initiatives, while staying abreast of industry developments and incorporating insights into best practices.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must hold an LLB or JD (or equivalent) and be authorized to practice law in at least one Southeast Asian jurisdiction. You should have a minimum of 4 years of experience in technology gained either in a law firm or a fast-paced in-house environment. Ideally, you will also have experience negotiating intellectual property and data privacy issues. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage a high volume of transactions independently are essential, along with experience drafting and negotiating technology-based agreements. Fluency in Thai is required for this role.
