POSITION SUMMARY:

The Business Operations Team plays a strategic role in UTAC to ensure the success of ALL potential future business growth. The team also manages price reduction in line with the market to ensure that the company remains competitive. The team members work closely with many other key functions within the organization to work out the cost and then price it accordingly while considering market-based pricing. This role will be based in Bangkok and is primarily responsible for providing strategic pricing quotes to the sales team on a timely manner for the Thailand factories. To do this, he or she must interact with various disciplines and organization such as Finance, R&D, IE, Supply Chain, Operations etc. to ensure the process, bill of material etc. is clearly understood to get to the best cost in a timely fashion.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure timely response to sales RFQ and price review requests.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, R&D, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Factory Finance to understand RFQ scope, technical requirements, and associated business opportunities.
• Provide price guidelines, insights and direction on Factories' capabilities and capacity to Sales to respond to customers' RFQ.
• Coordinate with Factory Finance and engineering team to understand the COGS, Technical capability, tooling and/or new capex requirements and process capability to support the RFQ.
• Scope up capex requirements for new business opportunities and present business proposals to management for endorsement.
• Develop and maintain pricing guidebook for standard packages to achieve quick RFQ turnaround time to customers.
• Feedback cost targets to Factory Operations and Finance team to drive strategic cost improvement projects to remain price and cost competitive.
• Monitor and report RFQ status, provide pipeline visibility to management team and factories.
• Conduct win and loss analysis of RFQs for future improvement
• Support special projects and perform ad-hoc analyses to drive continuous improvement.

DESCRIPTION:

• Bachelor's degree in business management, engineering or finance will be a plus.
• A 3 years' experience in Pricing or financial analysis
• Able to read and write in English
• Skills in Excel and reporting tools such as Power BI
• Attention to details is critical as we only get one chance to provide the "right" price.
• Comfortable to work with numbers in detailed manner.
• Experience and willingness to work closely with a cross functional teams.
• Able to manage people by influence.
• Comfortable with hands-on approach to getting the job done as necessary.
• Experience in Semiconductors Assembly & Test or manufacturing environment will be a plus
