Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Source, evaluate, and qualify suppliers for large machinery, industrial equipment, and spare parts.
- Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and service agreements to optimize total cost of ownership (TCO).
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and long-term partnership.
- Coordinate closely with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Finance teams to ensure timely and accurate material supply.
- Monitor market trends, new technologies, and alternative suppliers to support continuous improvement.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, safety standards, and relevant regulations.
- Lead, coach, and develop the purchasing team to achieve departmental goals and operational excellence.
- Track and analyze purchasing performance metrics to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, including at least 2–3 years in a Purchasing Manager or equivalent leadership role.
- Proven experience in sourcing and purchasing large machinery, equipment, and industrial spare parts.
- Strong negotiation, supplier management, and cost-control capabilities.
- Solid understanding of procurement processes, contracts, and vendor management principles.
- Leadership experience with strong team management and people-development skills.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and MS Office; knowledge of SAP or Oracle is an advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
