We are hiring a talented Business Planning and Strategic Manager to conduct a comprehensive business analysis, focusing on commercial aspects. Your insights will shape decisions for CEO, MDs, and HODs, and you'll contribute to our overall business strategy, portfolio enhancement, and identifying new opportunities._
- _ Report to MD_
- _ Location: Central Bangkok_
- Responsibilities:_
- _ Conduct thorough business analysis, particularly from a commercial perspective, and perform detailed P&L analysis to provide valuable insights and recommendations for decision-making by the CEO, MDs, and HODs._
- _ Manage the process of the Annual Business Plan (ABP) and Board Strategic Retreat (BSR) to identify and address any business gaps by integrating strategies and information from each department._
- _ Monitor and track the operations of each department in accordance with the approved ABP/BSR, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives._
- _ Prepare high-quality presentations and provide comments to the MD for reporting purposes in meetings with the Board of Directors._
- _ Evaluate the effectiveness of the company's investments to determine return on investment (ROI) and provide recommendations for optimizing investment decisions._
- _ Collaborate with the CEO's office and department heads on assigned projects and investments made by the CEO and MD._
- _ Act as a negotiator in discussions with third parties for potential mergers or product acquisitions. Participate in meetings with external stakeholders, including investors, partners, and suppliers._
- _ Lead trials for new business initiatives, pilot programs, and regional rollouts. Based on the results, make recommendations and implement necessary adjustments and modifications._
- _ Perform any other related duties as assigned by the management team._
- Qualifications:_
- _ Master's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field._
- _ Minimum age of 40 with 7-10 years of experience as a business consultant in a renowned firm and at least 5 years of experience in the FMCG industry or major strategic planning projects._
- _ Proven track record as a Strategic Planner or Business Consultant, particularly for multinational corporations (MNCs) in the FMCG industry._
- _ In-depth knowledge of market research, data analysis, business forecasting strategies, and techniques._
- _ Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset._
- _ Familiarity with FMCG business operations and procedures._
