**Key Responsibilities**:

- To assist Supply Planning / Material Planning Manager, in directing the executions in overall material management activities (buying and maintaining on time delivery schedule from supplier) and supporting on any improvement initiatives.
- To produce relevant reports and analysis to coordinate the forward purchase plans by analyzing the items and amount to be spent. Strongly collaborate with demand & production planner on the material usage requirement and participate in the S&OP processes eg., material risk & shortage assessment.
- Handle / supervising daily material usage to ensure no material interruptions and excess of inventory by reviewing and offsetting outstanding PO every month. Experience in indirect purchase of MRO / services will be added advantage.
- To have the strong background in MRP and master data (e.g., material, lead time, standard packing, safety stocks and etc.,) are properly maintained.
- Able to provide intensive knowledge of supplier management and ensure suppliers align with PPG standards and optimal industry pratices. eg., Shelf life, FIFO and others.
- To perform other related duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in Business Studies or its equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Chemical Industry and experience in material planning and supply
- Demonstrate initiative, adaptability and problem-solving skills in the dynamic environment
- Strong analytical skills, organized, meticulous with strong eye for business focus.
- Able to remain focused and work efficiently under pressure while prioritizing multiple tasks and work independently
- Positivity & right demeanor, strong sense of urgency to resolve issues.
