**The Opportunity**

Our Business development team works alongside our partners and lawyers across our sectors, services and offices to support and develop our relationships with clients, delivering an exceptional service and exploring new avenues through which we can help them meet their business needs. Our brand, marketing and digital team help position us as thought leaders amongst our target markets in the areas we most want to be known for, by creating intuitive and engaging collateral, events and campaigns.

**THE OPPORTUNITY**

As a Business Development Assistant, you will work very closely with colleagues across ASEAN, Greater China and NE Asia, supporting various practice areas including disputes, corporate, finance, projects, employment and competition.

As part of the business development team, you will play a hands-on role in contributing to the firm’s success and helping to achieve its objectives. This could be as one of our business development professionals, coaching partners on relationship building, or building our brand as one of our marketing, design or events professionals.

**The role will involve**:

- Assisting the BD teams with content preparation for presentations and marketing materials, as well as liaising with external suppliers;
- Supporting the business development agenda - not limited to brochures, legal directory submissions, CVs, website profiles, newsletters, social media etc.;
- Ensuring that proposals are standardized in terms of HSF format and proofread contents for pitching and other presentations;
- Assisting in and liaising with external providers as well as internally, on event preparation, logistics and other on-ground support;
- Creating and circulating weekly BD updates;
- Maintaining marketing contact lists in the firm’s CRM database (Interaction);
- Helping to maintain data in the firm's credentials database (Foundation);
- Helping to maintain filing systems and logs that support efficient information management for the teams;
- Monitoring and sharing news updates and activities of clients, peers and the market;
- Dealing with other ad hoc tasks and projects from BD teams.

**To be successful in this role, you should have the below skills, experience & qualification**:

- An international outlook and collaborative mindset
- Fluent in Thai and English (written and spoken)
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Excellent team worker
- Initiative to solve problems and a 'can do' attitude
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills - ability to manage own quality of work and meet deadlines.

- Self-motivated and proactive.
- University degree or other relevant qualification
