**We are looking for**:

- A highly skilled legal professional to provide legal support and to assist and support the Senior Legal Counsel the key stakeholders of the Group in Asia Pacific
- A trusted business partner able to balance legal requirements with business objective and to render practical and creative legal solutions to help business growth, while managing risks and ensuring compliance
- Someone capable of managing an assigned project and instructing, coordinating and monitor outside counsel, including the development of strategies and tactics A team player with a can-do attitude who can work independently

**We count on you for**:

- Assisting in providing legal advice and support on a board variety of legal issues, including business licenses, legal liability, privacy, legislative updates, regulatory advocacy, and other ad hoc support etc.for corporate governance, Group's internal policy and compliance, and the interest of Group's Business operations in APAC, including assistance with dispute and employment-related settlements
- Managing (i.e. drafting, negotiating, finalizing) and advising on other contract-related matters, including corporate law/secretary matters (filing and attending meetings), commercial and supplier contracts, data protection compliance, labor law, litigation and dispute resolution, etc.
- Assisting with various legal projects (such as M&A, JV, divestment, liquidations, etc.)
- Following up on implementation and execution of Group policies and procedures, including attending board meetings
- Providing legal risk management support to and
- Collaborating with other team members, including legal teams in other jurisdictions, to ensure standardization and alignment on legal matters at Group level and support continuous improvement in that respect
- Assisting to instruct, coordinate, and monitor any external counsel's activities in APAC region as necessary and in a cost-efficiency management

**You will bring**:

- A law degree from a well-respected, accredited Thai university and qualified to practice law (having lawyer license) in Thailand
- At least 8 years or more post-graduate experience as Legal Counsel in an international law firm or international working environment in Thailand in the chemical industry
- In-depth knowledge of Thai laws, relating corporate law, commercial laws, labor law, competition law, data protection law, M&A and criminal procedure laws
- Solid track record of corporate / commercial projects experience in Thailand
- A well-developed understanding of commercial, contract and risk management issues (including a good understanding of compliance issues) facing a global business
- Proactive mindset and excellent legal and business judgment, analytical, communication, negotiation, drafting and problem-solving skills, flexible thinking with delivery of pragmatic and compliant business solutions to ensure excellence in service and value-adding advice within Group
- Ability to work effectively across border team members, and organizational collaboration skills having multi-cultural and multi-jurisdictional practice
- Fluency in Thai and in English (fluency in another language relevant to APAC region is a plus)
